At Marian College, the junior years are a time of discovery and growth. We call this phase Wonder — a reflection of our students’ natural curiosity and the exciting journey that begins in Years 7 and 8.

The Wonder program provides a strong foundation in core subjects while allowing students to engage in a broad and balanced curriculum. With a deliberately traditional structure, students benefit from consistency, depth of learning, and meaningful relationships with teachers and peers..

In their first year, students participate in a dedicated transition camp designed to build confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. Across both years, students experience a wide range of learning areas, including Religious Education, English, Humanities, Mathematics, Science, Languages, Design & Technology, Performing Arts, Health & Physical Education, and Wellbeing — all enriched through integrated STEAM opportunities.

The Wonder years encourage students to question, imagine, and grow into capable, confident learners — ready for the exciting challenges at Marian College.
