Students Raise Over $600 for WellSprings Through Enterprise and Action
This Term, our Year 9 and 10 students participated in a dynamic interdisciplinary unit that blended enterprise learning, teamwork, and civic responsibility. Tasked with designing either a small business or an awareness campaign, students applied their knowledge of business planning, marketing, budgeting, and social justice to create real-world outcomes with meaningful community impact.
The project combined entrepreneurship, teamwork, and social responsibility — with outstanding results.
Throughout the project, students developed critical skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making. From writing résumés and participating in interviews to taking on team roles and launching their ideas to the school community, they embraced every step of the journey.
Their efforts culminated in over $600 raised for WellSprings for Women, an organisation supporting vulnerable women through education and empowerment.
